How to use LawZone

The first 2 pages of LawZone ask you to state your first name and gender. This information isn’t kept in any way and is only used to ‘talk’ to you.
Work through LawZone by selecting the options that relate to your situation and by selecting the ‘Continue’ buttons
To go back a page use the ‘Back’ button on LawZone. If you select the ‘back’ button on your web browser you will be taken out of LawZone.

You can also go directly to a page you have already looked at by clicking on the arrow next to MY PROGRESS at the top of the LawZone screen and selecting the page you want.

You can get more information by clicking on any words that are underlined and also by selecting the ‘Learn more’ buttons. Some of the underlined words will take you directly to other websites that have useful information about debt.

When another box pops up after you have clicked on an underlined word or the ‘Learn more’ button, you can use the arrow on the right hand side of the box to scroll up and down so that you can read all the information.

You can call LawAccess NSW on 1300 888 529 between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday, if you have any questions about anything in LawZone or to report any difficulties you have using it.
